Mother-in-law said she will not talk to us anymore...... feel the love.
by New light for you inyes, so my children talking to mom i hear "no we dont go to meetings anymore" and i'm thinking "crap!!".
so then the phone gets passed to me.. and my husband is of course out of town for this.
i get asked point blank if we're witnesses anymore.. and i said "no we're not".

Interesting account TS. Some of your story I could relate to personally, but I could understand all of it. The way you gradually dwindled through disillusionment was very interesting. The slow way in which you lost your belief in the organisation.

by John Doe innow, i haven't been to meetings since i was about 20, but in my congregation the sexes were pretty much evenly split.
however, i've seen the statement several times that there are "not enough brothers to go around," so i can only assume that my congregation was atypical.
so, if there are more women jws, what is the reason for this?.

In conclusion I think men are able to switch off more from one activity to another.
So it is men’s advantage not to be able to multi-task…….??? Always thought multi-tasking was overrated…..!!!
